Frequently Asked Questions About Care Advocacy
Who does Care Advocacy AZ serve?
We support authorized older adults and families navigating assisted living, memory care, hospital transitions, and senior-living decisions throughout Phoenix, Scottsdale, and neighboring communities.
What happens during a wellness visit?
An authorized advocate observes the resident’s presentation and environment, compares appropriate details with the established baseline, documents non-emergency observations, and provides a concise family summary.
Do you replace the facility or physician?
No. We do not provide emergency response, diagnose, prescribe, direct facility staff, or replace treating professionals.
Can you help during a hospitalization?
Hospital and transition advocacy may include organizing information, helping authorized families prepare questions, clarifying discharge instructions, and tracking return-to-facility follow-through, subject to authorization and availability.
Do you accept placement commissions?
No. Our independent placement guidance is needs-focused and designed to avoid a sales-driven referral experience.
Who can enroll or authorize services?
Enrollment must be completed by the resident or a legally authorized decision-maker. Documentation of authority may be required.
How is private information handled?
Ordinary Wix forms are limited to general inquiries and should not contain medical details. Sensitive intake information, authorizations, signatures, and documents are collected through the secure IntakeQ/PracticeQ portal.
Are memberships refundable?
Membership fees become nonrefundable once services begin for the applicable billing period. The complete recurring-billing, refund, and cancellation terms are presented for signature during secure enrollment.
Is this an emergency service?
No. Call 911 for emergencies. Website forms and portal submissions are not monitored continuously.
